In this article I am going to share an online marketing strategy for bloggers. Or anyone who posts consistent content on a regular basis.
There are many ways to market your products, services or business online.
One of the main factors is consistency. The techniques I am going to share are best used for blogs, videos, that are posted on a consistent basis.
On my blog I post several times a week.
You don’t have to.
The point of what you do is getting more eyeballs to see your content.
I’ll be sharing three strategies in this blog to do just that.
Online Marketing Strategy #1
Word of mouth is a great way to get your products or services in front of more people.
Online, we do that by sharing links.
They in turn click on the link, and boom you’ve got a visitor.
Facebook continually changes the way they display content, how often and to whom.
They also don’t give priority to links. Rather, to posts that are hosted on Facebook itself.
Here’s what you can do. Post the article itself on FB and don’t forget a call to action at the end of the post.
A call to action is what you would like your readers to do.
The more transparent you are in your call to action, the better the conversions.
What if you only have fifty friends on facebook?
Another great way to get exposure is to comment on other peoples content.
Search for the people that you most resonate with.
For example, I look up to Tony Robbins.
By commenting, you attract others to you based upon what you wrote.
So don’t just write the best one word comments, but take your time and think about it.
This strategy can also be done on YouTube, Vimeo, anywhere people share content.
Online Marketing Strategy #2
Do you have a budget to advertise your products or services?
One thing many entrepreneurs do is join communities where their content has the opportunity of being featured or shared with others.
There are a ton of ways of doing this.
One way is to feature someone on your website, or in a video.
Search engines love fresh content and when you feature someone you’re doing just that.
By giving value, you establish trust with your audience and it can be alot of fun!
It’s something I’ve been doing for years.
Build relationships with people you look up to, give substantial value, and have a blast!
Online Marketing Strategy #3
This may be my favorite online marketing strategy.
Especially nowadays when people are getting more and more used to non traditional ways of communication.
Here’s what I do.
Many people use social media to get answers to questions on their mind, life, partners…really just about anything.
I’ve seen some outrageous posts that left me starring at the screen in disbelief.
Use keyword research to see what people are asking, and create content that delivers the answer.
Two major benefits of doing this.
1) Your content could rank within the search engines.
2) You now have a way to answer people’s questions.
Have you used any of the online marketing strategies outlined above, which one?
Share your experience in the comments, and any tools you use to get your products or services in front of more eyeballs.
