Wouldn’t it be awesome to have an itemized list of how to build your confidence?
Well, have no fear!
Here are 8 Ways to Build Your Confidence.
When I first began writing this, the list got longer and longer.
Next thing you know, I had over 47 different ways one can use to build their confidence.
It was after weeding out, merging and ditching a few that I was able to narrow the list down to 8.
With that being said, by no means, is this list meant to be the say-all to build your confidence.
These are just a few of the ways that I have done so.
8 Ways To Build Your Confidence
1) Make Time For Yourself
The growing benefits of meditation can help reduce high blood pressure, lower the heart rate, create flow between the mind and thoughts, and so much more.
If you aren’t already, take 15 minutes each day to rest, and breath in a meditative type way. The results are different for everyone but for those that do, they are worth the time.
2) Take A Run
When your body feels good, you tend to feel good too. Alot of our complex is made up of what we think about our physical appearance.
Get active. Go outside with the kids and play. The more you can go outside and smell the roses, the more time you use creating sustainable habits.
3) Be Yourself
Who are you anyway? If your paused thinking about of an answer, try this.
Go into a quiet space. Turn off all distractions. And ask yourself who are you? (Who am I?) With your answer, ask yourself again, “Who am I?”. Keep repeatedly asking yourself the question, each time digging deeper and deeper within yourself.
This exercise make take twenty minutes, or it could take 1 hour or 6 days. It’s not about how long it takes you, its about what you do with the answer once you receive it.
4) Be Like Oprah
When I think of an individual who exudes confidence. Oprah comes to mind each time.
She started her show, with lots of public scrutiny but still pushed forward. Even though, she had her own struggles to overcome, her confidence was so high, she didn’t quit.
When things get tough, strap on your boots and be like Oprah. Or any individual who you admire or look up to.
5) Develop Your Self Image
By far, this might be the most important thing you can do to build your confidence. Scientifically proven in the book, Pyschocybernitics (link to Amazon below).
There are quite a few ways to do this, but THAT book in my opinion is a must-read if you are seeking to build your confidence.
6) A Smile Goes A Long Way
When surveyed, what makes a person beautiful. Thousands of people all agreed, an individual who smiles genuinely is perceived to be beautiful, happy, friendly.
Try to smile more throughout the day. Have a chuckle at little things that tick you off and watch your perspective evolve. There are a ton of things that can turn your world around, smiling is a easy way to do it.
7) Join A Team
Team sports are a great way to build your confidence. Go to the local recreation center and sign up!

8) Trust Your Instincts
The final item on our list of 8 Ways To Build Your Confidence. This might be one of the hardest things to do.
Self doubt is a result of a lack of confidence. Replenish your confidence by trusting more in your instincts.
Of course, there are tons of ways to build your confidence but I hope this article has brought you more of an understanding of how it can be done.
Don’t sweat the small stuff, and rest assured, the more you work on yourself, the more value you are to others.
